"All my colleagues has been teasing me regarding the concluded contest for the last two weeks," said Sam.

But the Ryding siblings said they had low expectations for the remaining matches - and all they are asking for from the players is "a bit of fight".

"Commentators consistently references this, but it all hinges on mental resilience. 'The aggressive approach has been become a phrase now that is just, like, impractical batting," added Rory.

"During a long match, you should dig in. Playing at deliveries 'outside the line has never been in the coaching manuals, and that is largely because of the frontline batsmen."

Looking Ahead

Asked whether he believed England will triumph in a Test in this Ashes series, one fan responded: "The evidence suggests the Aussies are just too good right now."

"There is going to have to be several individuals that makes a significant contribution and produces a match-winning display."

Regardless of the result, the fans are excited about the trip.

"We are going to have a fantastic experience regardless," added another sibling. "Our approach is that mindset."

"Naturally, it's disappointing we don't have more to play for, but we have spent so much money by now."

"We'll enjoy having Christmas and New Year out there. Additionally, it's a new experience for us abroad at this time of year."

A schoolteacher, Katie is intent on maximizing the lengthy journey as part of her seasonal break.

"As a backup plan, there's always golf to rely on," she added.
